The Tarheel Fastpitch Stars organization was created to field teams of elite players throughout the state and region that are looking for professional coaching and play at a high level, particularly players that are pupils of The Fastpitch School [Welcome to The Fastpitch School).
Our Goal? Simple — Help players extend their career beyond high school by preparing them to play at a high level and presenting them to university and college recruiters.
How? Tournaments - Legendary Showcase, Va; Gold Diamond, TN; WFC Early Signing, SC; Fireworks, Denver to name a few. Minimum 10 total for 18U.

Hometown Carlsbad, NM - 1998 graduate of Indiana University as a 4 Time All Big Ten and 2 Time All American. Following her outstanding college career Monica played in the Women's Professional Softball League with the Carolina Diamonds for two seasons, where in 1999 she set the WPSL single-season home run record (12), one season for the WPSL All-Star Team, as well as a season with the Akron Racers. Seven years as an 18U Head Coach, former Head Coach of the Carolina Lady Blues.
Public tryouts for 18u and 16u are on August 27th/28th in Foothills and Piedmont. Individual tryouts by appointment. Write for a tryout package and access to our secure web site for registration and a tryout appointments. If you are looking for 16u and 14u information, send a note and we'll let you know more information about the PROFESSIONAL coaching staff and tryouts.
