yes and no - what i see at the very end of that clip is that his body rises up as he "loads the middle" - i like to see a level plane to keep your head still - so that's pretty close - there are alot of ways to hit - it's real simple - the simpler you can make it the better - i've coached HS baseball for 15 yrs and played ball all my life and there's always some "new" way to hit comin around the corner - personally i try to take anything away that causes problems - for example - holding bat on plane you swing, no stride (tap foot or nothing, build stride into stance), hand movement for timing (law of inertia), load backside, spin and swing... real simple - see the ball hit the bat - there's alot of hair splitinig when you try to disect every little aspect of a swing... there's more than one way to skin a cat

I would call it rolling up on the toe but whatever you call it, if this is the lower body action you are looking for then we are on the same page.
