Speed times

Curious as to what would be some average speed tines for travel ball players from ages 9-11 from hone to first?
Which is mostly 10u ball!

Average probably ranges between 3.0 to 3.5 secs for 10u.

For 10U, 4.0 is pretty average.

Average for our 10u fall ball tryouts was 3.81 sec.
Average for our 12u fall ball tryouts was 3.67 sec.

Are those times from a swinging start or sprint start?

Nobody mention from the left or right side times. Lefty side makes a big difference in times if a dad was looking for comparisons.

There are basically 3 ways that many NCAA programs measure it. From contact on right side...from contact on left side....and standing on the back edge of the plate and when the lead foot hits the ground. Telling us how you are asking would make a big difference in the times.

We did our times from back edge of plate. Fastest time we had was a 3.5 was an 11yr old. My Dr ran a 3.6 and she is only 9
I've read average high schoolers is at 2.8-3.0 So I thought mine ran fairly good.
