Hi all! I'm the mom of 4 (2 girls). We live in a rural area without a lot of competitive softball, and our Rec opportunities are a bit limited, so I am fairly new to this world. Our oldest, who is 10, just started playing more this year and has developed a love of the game. She got on a travel team for this fall, so the past several weeks I have been looking for some decent deals on a bat and glove (she is currently using some very cheap products and does ok, but I think having nicer equipment will certainly help her). I found this site today during my search, and have since gone down the forum rabbit hole trying to get as much info as I can
