Was this a State Championship, or do tournaments in OK normally get that many teams for regular tournaments? Or is OK close enough to TX that the "everything's bigger" rule is still in effect?

It is the OKC Challenge which typically draws a lot of teams because it coincides with the WCWS.

We played in that last year. Very spread out -- most of our sites were an hour out of town.

WCWS was a fun time, but wouldn't do that one again.
