We are going to Hemet this weekend and there are 16 different fields the 16's will be playing at. When there are 100's of teams playing, does it matter if you are at the main complex? Is that an advantage? To be honest, I don't even know where the main complex is. Do coaches come with a list of players they want to watch? If the coaches want to see you, they will go to your field, right?
Thanks.

But, most showcases will pool teams based on strength and reputation. So if a showcase uses 4 facilities, certain facilities will have the more highly regarded teams and/or organizations. As a result, the quantity and dispersal of D-I, D-II, etc., coaches may vary from place to place.

That said, if coaches are actively recruiting a player, they will go find them.

16U schedule shows 21 fields on Friday and 26 on Saturday. The main complex for 18U is Diamond Valley and the top fields for 16U are at nearby BLD Perris, Wheatfield and Valle Vista. The teams playing in West Covina might as well be in a different event.

Coaches generally plan a schedule of who they're going to watch and when. Schedule conflicts and different parks make it difficult to see everyone. Strong programs are very selective about which players they go watch. Others may wander around when they have a gap in their schedule.

Great. Thanks for the info. We're actually at Wheatfield on Saturday and Valle Vista on Sunday.
