I have a bushnell radar gun and am wondering the best angles to get accurate readings. I can get substantially different readings on very similar pitches viewed from different angles.
Thanks,
I had the old model Bushnell and it came with a chart or directions about the angle pitchs are gunned. I no longer have that gun but you may find something on their web site. I remember that the ball coming right at you was the most accurate and for so many ft. to the side you has to add a certain amount.

We have a police officer who has a daughter on our team. For the gun to be the "most" accurate he told us to stand directly behind the catcher or directly behind the pitcher. Off to the side gives you a plus or minus false reading of a few mph. Like I said, thats what we were told.
