It came early. I made a mallet with a broom handle and an old 11” ball.
It’s almost 10:30pm and she’s still beating on the glove. Haven’t put anything on it yet, but it wasn’t nearly as stiff as I thought it might be. It’s working in nicely. DD is taking some pride in doing the break in work herself, and that’s awesome to see.

Just in case someone else comes along that is interested but whose DD doesn't like shinny things, this is a youth baseball version, not 3 finger design, and says intended for 9 to 12 year olds so may have a very small handstall, both color options too....bet it is of similar quality as vela/AF Elite...I like the black H-web utility model the best, just can't understand what idiot decided to okay putting metallic binding on that model?
In all seriousness, a company like All-star could build a solid glove with top notch materials, the right patterns and webs for multiple positions and make it affordable and just kill the big three in fastpitch! Metallic binding........it's purdy!
