Prism or CF?

Prism+ I’m pretty sure is as balanced as the come. The Whisper is the most ended in the line.

Is Prism+ more balanced than the 2020 prism?

I have a 2020 28/17 Prism and just got a 2023 29/18 CF and the shorter prism is actually heavier: 19.0oz vs 18.8oz.

It feels like there's definitely more mass in that barrel on the prism vs CF

We have one owned by a kid on the team but I haven't taken a swing with a Prism. I love the CF for hitting IF/OF to the girls. It gives you exactly what you put into it. It's easy to hit at whatever level of speed or distance I desire. We have two modern ones and one that looks like someone tried to build a deck with it 20 years ago, and all of them feel the same.

Yeah it's a log. I replaced the grip with a 1.1 lizard skin but I don't think that should account for that much of a difference.

Not really, lots of drop11s are worse weighting than any other weight for lots of manufacturers

Every DeMarini I weigh comes in very close to sticker. The only outlier to that was the Whisper, which tended to be a bit over sticker. 19 ounces for what's supposed to be a 17 oz bat is absurd. By my calculations, that's 12% over sticker weight.
