So I am coaching a 10u team I have 4 pitchers 2 are beginners but coming along very nice. The other 2 are my better pitchers 1 is very consistent with decent speed and can hit her spots almost every time the other throws straight heat has a nice change up and when she is on she is almost unhittable but she can have control issues.

So not factoring in warm up pitches every inning I was thinking 60pitches per game. We play in a 4game tournament (5-6 if we make the championship game)this weekend and its supposed to be mid to upper 80s.

Do you have a pitch limit or count? If so what is it? What are your thoughts?

If my assumptions are right, 6 games * 5 innings (timed games) = 30 innings.

#1 and #2 should be able to pitch about 12 innings each, 6 innings each day, so you only need a combined 6 or so innings out of #3 and #4. If you can get more innings out of #3 and #4 great, you should not need many innings out of them even if you make the championship.

If you cannot tell I like an inning limit opposed to a pitch count.

Edit: I think I am pretty conservative, a 10U pitching a complete game a day or 2 in a weekend seems OK to me.
