Honestly, we don't have a routine. She goes to a 30 minute hitting lesson every week and whatever hitting we do at practice. She ia also a pitcher so the bulk of her work is put into pitching.
I can definitely see what you how everything is happening on her front side. I think that when she sees this it'll help her see that her upper body is moving forward first rather than her hips. I know it's really opened my eyes.
I'm definitely no hitting coach, so help me develop a routine to help her get going in the right sequence. I will also speak to her hitting coach.

She appears to be using her core better in her latest swing vs the rear leg spin she had previously. Also I don't see her upper moving first..The pitch is up in the zone which gives the look of the upper leading.
I would work on creating some pre-swing stretch which should allow for the hands/upper to come back naturally during the release of the core.
