this is what DD uses as well, took a bit to break in, but now she loves it. has a good pop too!If you can find the All-Star CMW3000 get it. My DD is a lefty that catches and that glove is a beast!

AS CMW3000 is available left hand throw, as are most of the higher end mitts. just got to look around.I went with the All-Star Players Series set, my really problem is finding a left hand throw catchers mitt. I looked at the All-Star mentioned, but can’t find it in left hand. Also, waiting on one of the DFP members about the Vinci.
Thanks, I ended up finding a few gloves on AdStarr. They had a few that were for 12U (she’s 10), so I ordered a Rawlings shut out to try. Obviously it isn’t going to be great glove, but I at least need something for her to practice with and it shouldn’t take much break in. If she handles it well and coach leaves her at catcher, I will upgrade to a better glove. I’m still feeling like I should have got a middle of the road quality 12” or 12-1/2” 1B mitt, as I expect the above glove’s padding will likely be the equivalent of that.AS CMW3000 is available left hand throw, as are most of the higher end mitts. just got to look around.

FYI, Prospect was my DDs first mitt, and when she moved from rec to travel, it did not have adequate padding. with inner glove it worked for half a season.I may have spoke too soon, AdStarr didn’t receive the order and it doesn’t look like Rawlings carries the glove any longer. They are going to attempt to run it again. I reached out to a second DFP member about the Vinci, as I think the Fortus is probably a better choice than the Rawlings. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll likely go with the prospect, Mizuno shows they carry it in left hand throw.
I ordered a sting pad for now. Once we finally get a mitt in, o will see if there is enough room for the inner glove.
I agree 100% Fort. I’m just concerned with her being able to handle an adult 33”+ mitt at 10. Honestly, with a Youth type mitt, I expect it will last through fall ball (few tourneys) and maybe a little into spring.
