New respect for the knuckle ball...in search of the ball that breaks twice

A pitcher for Saint Mary's about 6 years ago had a knuckle ball, but although it didn't spin much at all, it didn't move much at all either. Maybe 37 feet just isn't enough.

Hillhouse throws one back during pitching lessons that does not spin at all and can throw it behind his back. DD gets a kick out of it every time he does it. She has tried it and got close but could never use it as a pitch. Don't know if BH has ever thrown it in a game but it sure looks freaky during lessons.

OMG !!!! bill threw that to my son once. it was soooo funny !!!! GREAT GUY !!!! bill hillhouse ....
