Here is the dilemma. First year team playing in the first "B" USSSA tournament of the year. The girls won 6 straight games and had 5+ run differential. Get notice today we've being run already to "A". Mandatory! No competition local only out of state. I don't think 9 year old girls shouldn't be playing up 3 years to compete in 12C ball. Need some guidance here.
Anyone successfully had the reversal performed A back to B? Any ideas on how to fight this mandate?
Seems like destroying the team and or the girls summer may happen. Need 10,000 grand to travel! Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I would roll with it for at least a couple tournaments. Maybe since they don't have many "A" teams they are trying to build it up. If you go two tournaments and go 0 for 6/8 depending on guarantee and get run ruled every other game then petition to play down again. If you go 3-5 and struggle a little, time to roll up the sleeves and get to work...you might just be one of those teams on the edge.
Not sure what the money issue is about are all the "B" tournaments in town but every "A" tournament is over a hundred miles away? Sound like a small USSSA organization there should be other opportunities. Where are you?
