Need a couple bats

I need a couple bats for my park rec team 11-12 girls. Roy's @ Close-Out bats sent me with an Easton S3 -13 bat on sale for 49.95 . you think the -13 is too light ?. ( some of my parents pay the rent and not spring for new bats ) .

Yes, -13 is too light. I'd look for 30", 31" and 32" bats in -11 and -10.

I got a -13 cheap, DD hit about 10 balls with it. You need to wear earplugs when hitting with it, it is loud.

Agree with this. My DD moved up to a drop -10 at this age.

DD hit with a -13 in 12U and hit it well. The little Bustos bat had a lot of pop. At 12U rec most kids don't have the swing technique nor strength to get much trampoline out of a composite bat. Doesn't the rec league give you a few bats and won't the rest of the teams be in the same boat?

Agree with you. For a rec league, I think that bat is more than ample.
