14 year old DD is getting good hits at the plate, but looking for some advise on what we can work on to make it better.

I'm seeing an arm-powered swing with bat-drag, arm bar, and DBSF* issues. There is also very little weight shift.

What we want to see is a swing powered by the rear hip and hands. The barrel will pivot around the hands, with the hands taking a short and direct path to whip the barrel through contact. Notice how the hands are connected to the movement of the rear shoulder, and move OUT FROM the shoulder to contact, rather than being pulled around the torso by the arms.

Things to learn about...
- Stretch and separation
- Rear hip coil
- Using the hands to turn the barrel to the ball

* Drop the Barrel and Swing Flat. The bat is leveled behind the back by dropping the hands, and then is swung on a flat plane (level to the ground) to contact.

A couple things to add is that her front foot stays square to the pitcher. If you notice in the Cabrera clip is that his front foot is open some and then rotates more at contact. She could also work on getting extension through the ball as she rolls her hands over very early.
