I heard the Torq feels weird at first but then you get used to it. DD's not interested in it, but I did just pre order the -9 Mako for her B-day, so don't tell her

They don't sell the Torq in -8 but they do sell the regular Mako in -8...they said it is end loaded because of the weight but not as much as the FX series is.
