If she plans on playing in college she can use it as an experience to get used to practicing at all times. If they are allowed to start preseason in late January DD’s school will have plenty of very early morning or late night practices.
DD’s last club team had late Sunday night practice also but she made it work. I enjoyed it much more when she could drive herself.
Nope, softball isn't going to pay my kid's bills when she gets older but her education will. I balked one year when practices ended at 9PM (we live a half hour away so DD wasn't showered and in bed before 11 and was falling asleep in school the next day).
One year my dds team practiced from 6-9 on Sunday night in another time zone that we lived 3 hours away from so it was 1am when we got home. Did this for 10 weeks. It was rough but she and we survived.
