Hello all,
I played ball most of my life until I tore my Achilles in my right leg in my early 30’s. Started coaching my kids baseball teams not long after. Eventually both my daughters wanted to switch to softball. Coached community ball for a bit and then asked to coach on a local travel team that my youngest daughter got on. That was a challenging season due to having too many “head” coaches on one team. Then last fall, my youngest tried out for a spot on a top city travel ball team. She made the team, and the organization, asked me to come aboard as an assistant coach.
I’ve always been a student of the game, watching videos, taking notes, accepting criticism and practicing drills myself before taking them to the players.
I enjoy the sport, and the life lessons you get from it.
Thanks for reading this, I look forward to spending time here.
