interesting twist to this past weekend's tournament

DDs team won their local (no sanction) tournament this past weekend. interesting thing was on Sunday, they played exactly the same three teams they played saturday, in reverse order of saturday. just kinda an interesting thing, has anyone experienced anything similar?

they all did give us much closer game on sunday (run differential in the teens sunday vs over 30 on saturday, and sunday was closer than it sounds, first and third game we put up several runs each in last inning after a back and forth affair for most of the games, second game was tight to end).

Mathematically that can certainly happen, but probably a very slim chance.

yes simply happened, DDs team was #1 seed, the third team they played on Sat was the last seed, and so that was first game. after that, they played the winner of the 4/5 game, think it was the 5, but no great shock, this was second team they played saturday. then they played the winner of the other semifinal, which was the first team they played saturday.

Yeah, my DD is in 12U and I feel we play the same teams over, and over, and over.

no, couple of 3-0, one team went 0-3, rest of records were spread in between. just happened that seeding and who won bracket games worked out that way. that is why I thought it was kinda interesting.
