Scenario... batter hits a long high ball to left field, the outfielder is clearly inside of the fence by 2-3', she "pushes" her glove upwards to catch the ball, but punches the ball upward and over the fence.
Since the outfielder was clearly inbounds, by 2-3', (and her glove wasn't over the boundary of the fence trying to "rob the batter of a HR" by pulling the ball back in to play), and she knocked the ball up and over the fence, is this an awarded HR, or a 4-base error?
No, neither the batter or outfielder are my DD...but happened in one of our games, and I'm curious
Thanks
