How low can you go?

I've seen some MLB catchers over the years use this stance with none on. The first guy I recall seeing do it was Manny Sanguillen but I think this is many be Tony Pena.

My DD wears knee savers to keep her butt off the ground in her "no-runners" stance. She says doesn't like it dragging around - LOL. Being long, lean, and flexible, we haven't figured out another way to make it work without the pads.

Taken out of context that just looks like laziness.

It does but both Sanguillen & Pena were EXCLLENT defensive catchers.

I wouldn't advocate teaching that stance because it exposes the inner thighs to foul balls pretty good but it does let you setup very low.
