My DD went to a facility today that has the HitTrax system. I think this thing is a wonderful tool in that is gives feedback while you are hitting in a cage. For kids I think them actually seeing numbers applied to an action helps them understand better when something was done correctly. It gives exit velocity, angle and distance the ball traveled for each hit, and much more I’m sure. Maybe not something you would need every day but once every month or two I think would be beneficial for most kids, and she loved it. In the end that is what it is all about anyway.

I think the HitTrax system is an amazing tool. I take my daughter to a facility that has it for hitting lessons. The lessons are basically the hitting coach loading a tee for 15 minutes and then front tossing for 15 minutes. He gives very little verbal instruction. She internalizes the feedback from HitTrax system herself. She has completely transformed herself in the last 6 months, mainly because of the HitTrax feedback.
