high top men's cleats

I was at Sports Authority and the sales rep said he suggested that we get mens cleats for DD. He said there is just so many more to choose from and the main difference is that they are slightly wider. DD's foot is right on the line for needing wide shoes. I also noticed a lot of high top models coming out and he said they are becoming really popular because of ankle injures. I picked some up and they were way lighter than DD's low rise Ringors (about $40.00 more also) I thought that with DD's ankle injuries, this might be a good way to go. She also uses inserts, which raise her foot up a bit in the shoe and maybe high tops would be better. Anyone here use men's cleats?

Yep, My oldest specifically wanted high tops. We couldn't get the price or selection we wanted in women's so she is wearing men's.
