Thats pretty cool. Ive seen a lot of bats in my days...havent see that one.

What size is it? are those cracks?
I think it's a 34/26, it started to delaminate so she stopped using it. It was at least 20 years ago when I bought it for her. If I remember correctly the company made launch tubes for missile systems, and made the bats for maybe a year.

I reached out to the company that made it, the VP of sales responded and said he knows it was certified by one organization but can't remember who. Getting into the bat market was too challenging so they pivoted to making parts for other manufacturers. He says once every few years they get questions about it when someone cleans their garage.

2000/2001 were slow years for defense contracts?
"Hey boss, what do we do with all these extra 2-1/4" diameter missle tubes lying around?"
