Even though her teams spring roster is basically set, My 14u DD had “tryouts” for her travel ball club today. All the usual stuff, hitting fielding, running the bases..... Out of about 50 girls she was far and away the fastest. She’s a second-year converted slapper and averaged 2.7 down the line and 11.9 home to home. She’s always been fast but she’s been working her tail off on strength and conditioning and it’s really paying off! I’m very proud of the work she’s put in.
