This exciting hands on, challenging camp is intended only for players that are serious about continuing their growth and
reaching the highest level of play as they pursue their dreams in softball.

Session 1: Players in 8U, 10U and 12U
Saturday January 30: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Registration begins at 8:30 AM)

Session 2: Players in 14U, 16U or 18U
Sunday January 31: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Registration begins at 8:30 AM)

Cost: $50 per player (Players should bring their own lunch each for each session)
$25 per coach (Coaches fee waived for teams of 6 players or more)

Location: Joint Venture Park at Daves Creek, 3660 Melody Mizer Lane, Cumming, GA 30041

Samantha Banister - Sam played for the Akron Racers of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) this past season after a standout career at The University of Arizona in which she was a part of two national championships. As a senior she belted a career-best 16 home runs, including two in NCAA Tournament regional play, and 10 doubles to go along with a .526 slugging percentage. Banister batted over .300 in the 2007 Women’s College World Series, including a five-game hitting streak, and recorded back-to-back multi-hit games in the championship series against Monica Abbott, one of the top pitchers in the world. She was chosen by the NPF to represent the league at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in St. Louis this past summer.

Shawna Norris - Shawna had a well traveled college career playing at The University of Washington (PAC 10), followed by UGA (SEC) and concluded at Syracuse (Big East). Shawna then served as an asst coach at Florida State University (ACC) (under legendary coach JoAnn Graff) where her responsibilities for the team include speed and agility, slapping, outfield and recruitment. She is passionate about softball and dynamic in her instructional methods.

Brittany Osmon - San Diego native that was outstanding performer at Florida State University; holds FSU record by hitting home runs in four straight games; starting lineup all 4 seasons; Brittany left her mark on Florida State and is in the record books as 3rd all time for put outs, 3rd all time in RBIs and 6th all time for home runs; She was twice selected as an ACC all conference player; Prior to attending FSU she was a 2 time ASA Junior Olympic National Champions; Beyond the field she was selected to the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll; extremely popular camp instructor and veteran of Champion Sports Events Recruiting Camps;

Chenita Rogers-Edwards - Former USA National Team standout, competing in New Zealand and China; member of NCAA All- Decade Team for 1980’s and voted one of top 35 NCAA players of All-Time; 2-time All-American and member of 1986 NCAA Division I World Series Champions at Cal State Fullerton; former assistant coach at Cal State. Chenita is active throughout the Atlanta area providing private lessons and private team instruction.

Angel Parks - Angel played collegiate softball and basketball at Piedmont College where she helped build their athletic programs. After completing her degree in education, Angel served as an assistant softball coach at Brenau University where she was in charge of recruiting as well at hitting. Angel has been a hitting instructor at numerous camps and clinics around the Southeast including the University of Georgia, Auburn University, and the North Carolina State. Angel currently coaches and provides batting instruction to girls throughout town.

Step 1: Pre-register by Emailing Coach Dalton at info@hit4speed.org to confirm availability of space. Please identify
your daughter’s name(s) and the specific age group she is in.
Step 2: Once Coach Dalton emails back that space is available please complete the registration material and mail
it with check payable to Dalton Ruer at 5944 Williamsport Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30542 no later than January 25,
2010. Checks will be held until after the camp. You will receive an email confirmation that your payment has been
received and that your spot(s) have been confirmed.

Sorry folks. This camp is now completely full. I will be hosting another camp similar to this over Memorial Day Weekend.
