My dd's math class this year in her first semester of her sophomore year of college.

That's my whole brag, she is taking math classes I never heard of before.

My DD took differential equations at her college, breathed a sigh of relief when it was complete.
The following semester she had a class in the sciences where they used differential equations.
The moral of the story: You can run but you cannot hide....
