Different shoes

Here is a different one. My DD were noticing an old place kicker who wore different shoes on his feet and she posed the question could a pitcher wear a metal cleat on one foot (landing) and a plastic cleat on the other (push off)? She didn't think it would be allowed I think it shouldn't matter.

As long as each shoe is legal in their own right, players are free to mix and match.

Don't know why you couldn't wear two different shoes.
