BUCCANEER SOFTBALL SQUAD TO HOST WINTER CLINICS

Beloit, WI. - The Beloit College softball team will host a series of clinics in January and February of 2010 at the Sports Center and Fieldhouse on campus. The clinics will feature a three-week pitching series, and a hitting clinic.
The Pitching Series, which will be limited to 15 pitchers per session, is scheduled for 1:00-2:30 for beginning pitchers and 2:30-4:00 for advanced pitchers on January 17, 24 and 31. The series will focus on the fundamentals of windmill pitching building on spin, spot and speed. The cost for the pitching series is $60.
The Hitting clinic will feature two sessions and will be limited to 30 hitters per session. Session 1 is scheduled for 1:00-2:30 p.m. on February 14 (basic fundamentals, techniques of bunting, T-drills and soft toss drills) and Session 2 is from 2:45-4:15 on February 14th (advanced soft toss drills and machine drills, techniques of slapping). The cost for the hitting series is $20 for one session and $35 for two sessions
Participants receive a clinic t-shirt with registration fees.
