DD#2's bat after 3 months.Two other girls on her team (12u) also had their CF9's break after only a couple of months. I would definitely steer clear of the Demarini drop 11's.

did they all buy same place around same time?

wonder if they got a bad batch


not a huge sample, but we've got 7-8 on our team, no issues....

Non-leather BP balls, dimpled or not, destroy bats. Even without using dimpled balls, I wouldn't expect to get more than 3000-5000 hits out of a bat before it dies or blows up. I'd expect to get fewer hits than that with a hitter who produces above average exit velocities and far fewer than that with a high drop bat. IMO there is no reason that a 12U with good swing mechanics should be using a -11 bat.
