Some may know I have been a member here for several years. Up to 6 months ago I expected my daughter Boo, would be playing for a Patriot league school or an Ivy, maybe UChicago or Tufts. This was all changed this week when she received her appointment to the USNA. She will be playing softball but not the NCAA kind and I am happy as a clam. I know Army has D1 softball but she didn't like Army. Must be something about the dress whites.

So Go Navy....Beat Army!

And thanks for the many people who have helped me make her a good SB player and better person.

Much to my surprise she opted to do some things she never had time for. She joined the Glee club and the debate team this year. She missed SB, especially this February and now has her glove at school and is planning on trying out in the fall. She is doing great academically is a happy camper as you can see in this pic.

Awesome!! My cousin played basketball and was a Mechanical Engineering major at the Academy for a year before transferring to Drexel and doing the same there. Not sure why he transferred..probably
couldn't hack doing both activities at the Academy
