right...im more worried about her skill then the bat she is swinging but if i can get a really good bat for , all the better. she has a rawlings liquid metal silver and an easton batatude now. both are are not high dollar by any means but she gets the ball to the grass 8 out of 10 times now . she likes the way the mizuno jenny finch model looks and loves the grip so thats what we're leaning toward......i'll leave the xeno's for middle or high school BUT if i can find a good composite for the same as the finch model then all the better.

I think the best time is now. I took DD to a lesson tonight at the local cage. Stealth on sale, 2012 $150. 2012 2012 CF5 $160. 2011 Xeno, my price 160. All new in wrapper.

Oh nuts, I desperatly want a Xeno but cannot find it any cheaper than $200. Not willing to spend that much. Was winning on eBay but then it jumped to over $200 plus $40 postage to Australia. Same with the Stealth.

I did just got a Mizuno Frenzy 340164 (I think this is the older model?) for $76 + $40 postage on eBay so I'm a happy chappy now! I've always like Mizuno but this will be the first time I ever bat with them. Then again my last bat was the first time I'd ever not have Lousiville so who knows?

Just bought a TPS spark for 39$. My eight year old will be using it this off season. Her team normally supplies the bat.

Best time to buy a bat is when the new models are released. I found some GREAT deals on Ebay when buying last years models/color schemes.
