Beginner Catching Drills

DD tried to set me straight on the type of shift Jay teaches, with limited success.

Wow, you are out in left field. You implied the shift would tip off the defense and they'd signal the batter. What is your concern?

No you might assumed something but you must be out in left field.. You don't read you take for granted and assume.. Just like what you wrote --- how does the shift tip off the defense???? I didn't say anything about tipping off defense ... lol lol Inside no concern.. just thought this was a discussion board... Inside do you know what is defense and what is offense? Why would the defense signal to the batter.. I said baserunner would signal to the batter.. I don't think the baserunner is on defense. I could be wrong but maybe you play different. ok ok I'm done with this. We need to get back on topic and suggest catching drills. No more comments from me.
