It's something similar to the backspin tee. But it holds the ball with a rope. I've decided I'm going to build one.

I know hitting a pitching machine ball is bad for a bat. But what if the ball is on a tee and not pitched? Will it still cause damage to the bat? Haven't decided what kind of ball to use. I'll either have to drill thru a regular softball or a dimpled ball. We have several houses close by and I dont want to take a chance on my dd getting under a ball and hitting it over the net and at a neighbors house. It wouldnt be a good way to meet the neighbors.

Is this what your referring to? It’s call U tee and uses special balls. lt comes off the string with a magnetic attachment. Ive used it, another nice gimmick type tee. I still prefer The Tanner tee

Well I took a couple hours today and made the tee. It took my dd all of 3 swings before she broke the pvc cement joint. I used primer and glue and the joint still failed. So I'm back to the drawing board.

I'm looking for a batting tee for my dd. I've seen them around before but dont know the name of them. Basically it's a batting tee that has a ball attached to it being held from the top. After the ball is hit, it swings and settles back down ready to be hit again. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Rukket Armed tee. Very portable and lifetime warranty. Tanners are good as well but not as easy to transport in small spaces.

Rukket also has their 12x9 Barrier net on sale for $119

Pretty hard to hit a ball past that, then you could use a normal tee with no worries

Or just hang a tarp or a piece of kennel screening. The amount of time she can’t hit a ball into a net won’t last very long.

SoloHitter and Swing away both had a ball attached to Bungee’s. I had the SoloHitter it was just OK. A Tanner tee and any net can’t be beat IMO

Yes, this is probably the best one. Just don't swing like this guy :)

This tee gives you feedback on launch angle. Try to hit the ball above the red square, NOT in the center. If they were smart, they would sell this with launch angles marked off. Of course, you could do it yourself.
