15yo DD Hitting off a tee in cage, using a pocket radar from behind.... Only counting hits straight down the cage... Crazy high/low readings are not used as well.

3 Bats... About 20 swings for each bat, using same 10 balls (real balls, not foam).

2019 Mizuno Power Carbon, 33" -9 (Avg Exit velocity 62.2 mph. Hi/Lo 65/59)
2020 Ghost Advanced 33" -9 (Avg Exit velocity 61.7 mph Hi/Lo 64/58)
2020 Mizuno Power Carbon 34" -9 (Avg exit velocity 64.7 Hi/Lo 69/62)

My conclusion, the PC and Ghost Advanced in 33", -9, statistically tied. I expected the 34" bat to have higher EV, but I was not expecting such a clear and dramatic increase.

I think the 34" bat should be in bag, and at LEAST get some reps during BP... DD not convinced.... <facepalm>

I'm too lazy to look myself, but are the true weights of each of those bats in our bat weight "database"?

My experience with the 2 companies is easton will keep replacing broken bat mizuno would only replace the original. So now I have a clanking power carbon broken on inside that they won’t replace for a cage bat and a replacement ghost I use for games.

Where's the best place to stand with the pocket radar?

We set the tee up more towards the middle of cage, so I can sit on my bucket directly behind the Tee and batter about 5 feet. Our cages have a hanging rubber backstop, so I cannot sit outside cage and get a clear reading.

I usually stand in front of the batter and behind a screen. Pocket radar indicates that it is best to be no closer than 15' from the ball at the hit/pitch.

Not surprised about the longer bat at all. A 34-9 is a BRUTE to swing in a game.

According to the database....
Ghost Advanced 33" -9 is 24.8oz
2019 Mizuno PC 33"-9 is not in database. the 33"-10 is 23.5oz, so half an oz over stated weight.
2020 Mizuno PC 34"-9 is 25 oz, so true to stated weight.
