If a player is rostered on "Team A", which is registered with the State ASA, and competes in an ASA listed league, tournaments, etc..... can she hop to "Team B" for for only the State ASA tournament? Both teams are in the same age bracket.

Once a player takes part in championship play, that is the roster to which that player is committed for the remainder of the season or until that team is eliminated from or has announced they are no longer participating in championship play.

League play is not championship play

That's what I had thought, the State >Regional >National procession. League and other tournaments would be excluded, prior to or after, even if they are ASA governed.

That is the ASA Code. Please note that some local (state/metro) associations go beyond the ASA Code in restricting player's activities. I strongly suggest you check with your local commissioner for that information.
