Before Covid we would rent a car to out of town games. So much benefit from renting instead of taking my own car.

Now the cost to rent a car is outrageous.

We did the same thing. It saved miles on my car. Yes, since COVID, I have been checking rates but the prices have tripled to quadrupled on car rentals.

Side note~
The car rental thing is more affected by the auto manufacturing issues going on and low computor chips...
and parts not being produced at full capacity due to materials shortages.

Leases come up and that causes more needs also.
