fastpitch5:
As a high school coach I have had several college coaches share with me that the burn out rate of players is rising. Too much, too fast. Let your DD play in the rec league. Does the league have an All Star team? Play with them. She is 12, she has at least 5 more years of ball to play. FUNdamentals (focus on the FUN)! The kids know that they play the game to win therefore, they put enough pressure on themselves. Ask yourself, "would I want to play a schedule that we have no chance to compete and wear you, your daughter out?" I suggest going with the option of the rec league. You save money, time and she will develop friendships that last a life time.
Good Luck!
