Gotta learn how to stop her forward momentum! That extra step and body English through her release is a speed and accuracy killer. Study the front side resistance threads for now.
I agree. We've tried working on that indoors over the winter and she got a lot better - now that she's able to get outside I noticed her struggling to stop her momentum again. I've read through the Front-side thread, I'm wondering if maybe having her shorten her stride a little wouldn't help somewhat or is that something we shouldn't try to tinker with due to timing issues?
