Does anyone know why UL-Lafeyette, and others, are taught to abbreviate their swings while in the cages? We watched them take batting practice for a long time, and every one of them did this 1/2 to 3/4 type swing. Seemed they took full hacks during the game. My daughter's team does the same thing, but off the tee only.
I've never asked her coach, but apparently I have a little less pride in this public forum.
