My middle dd is 18 and is one of two pitchers on a 21U Provincial team here in Southern Ontario. On her way back to school Easter Sunday she got T - Boned in an intersection by a bozo trying to beat a yellow light . No broken bones but sore all over and concussion. No athletic movements of any sort for at least a month (one Dr suggested 2 months minimum). We had just started working on Java's mechanics (he has provided feedback - thanks!) When this happens. Our season starts in mid May, but she can't do anything to prepare. Sucks big time! Hopefully the precautions she is taking will help here return in full mind and body.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Just wanted to say to everyone to be safe and always cautious. You never know when "bozo" is nearby.

And constantly remind your DD's not to text and drive. A local high school softball player recently died when she lost control of her car and hit a utility pole due to texting.

Glad she is doing ok. if you look close enough, you'll find the silver-lining......once she is no longer sore. Trust me - DD had cancer and we were able to find the silver lining too.
