For those of us who have few options but to play a lot of USSSA, the 2011 Xeno doesn't have the required stamp.

The 2011 Xeno is a great bat, and I am not sure what Louisville Slugger did to screw up the 2012 and 2013 models, but they seem to have the durability issues fixed with the 2014 model, so I will be surprised if people are willing to pay a premium for a 2011 when they can buy a 2014 with a one year warranty.

Is the 2011 superior to all the newer (12,13,14,15) Xenos? I know 2011 was the first year of production. Are the newer models not as hot as the original?

Not qualified to answer how "hot" the different models are, but the 2011 had a distinctive sound (and a longer life span), the 2015 Xeno does a pretty good job of getting back to the original "breaking glass" sound of the 2011 when you hit it on the sweet spot. The 2015 LXT also sounds a lot like a 2011 Xeno. In the 2012, 13 and 14 models the sound was muffled. I would buy a 2015 with a full warranty before I bought a 2011.

Thanks.....I am asking because my DD had the 2011 and was just killing the ball. She then had the same bat in 2012 model and the bat just didnt seem as formidable as the original 2011.
