Way to complicate for me.

There is no difference between 1 and 2 so I kind of gave up on the list.

Edited to add: #2 does not exist

Quincy, think about 1 and 2. First is 4 pitches that are called balls. Second is putting the runner on base with pitch outs. ( intentional )

The defense has to pitch. If they want to intentionally throw 4 pitches that the batter cannot hit great, they have to execute it. If they execute it correctly the batter walks. Umpire is just calling balls and strikes.

There are no Intentional walks, it is a boring old walk.

Quincy. I don't think you have reached the level of intentional walks yet.*

Tight game, 2 runners on, big hitter up. Yea I'm gonna walk her, load the bases for a force out across the board. Happens alot in upper levels of ball. I'll take my chance with a lesser batter in the box.*

I have had pitchers intentional throw 4 pitches out of the strike zone that the batter could not hit, it is a walk. #2 does not exist, it is a walk.

I am not sure how else to say it.

If your catcher gets up off her butt, and moves outside in a prone position to catch 4 pitches out of the zone it's an intentional walk. Have you ever watched MLB do this? It's pretty common. I think you are confused between a pitcher throwing close to the zone with a catcher in a normal stance and one who stands up way out of the zone, away from the batter having any chance of putting the bat on the pitch. Google it if you don't believe me.

Pretty ludicrous, but they should have included #24. Sneak out to 1B when no one is watching
