First swing

Looks like to me she takes her hands/knob to the ball. Probably hitting across the ball. Not getting enough bat leg for a better release.

You could try a tee on top of a bucket. Ball top of the strike zone. Around chest high. That will force her to keep her hands high in the swing without knocking the tee off over & over.

Arms higher than hand, hand higher than barrel of bat.

At set up her shoulders are alittle higher in front. Try even or alittle bit lower. Raise back arm a couple of inches and relax front elbow.

See what she can do off a high tee. Try to hit line drives.

Tee swings is a lot better. A LOT better. Try doing the same thing again with the swing thought to keep the lead arm close to the chest as long as possible.

Yeah. Straight's idea of some high tee work is a good idea. Would illustrate the arm dropping to her very quickly. Practice it yourself first before she gets there so you can really annoy her by being better at it. Set the tee with the ball almost shoulder high and drive it on a line. This is not something to do to drill in mechanics but rather to get the light bulb to go off in her head that she's dropping her arms.
