13YODD...Fall 31"/21 Stealth...Now school just measured DD at 5'1" 105# DD so happy that she crossed 5' that she is stepping up to her 32/22 Xeno...Indoors she looks fine...Need to wait till we get outside and face some live pitching to see how she handles it...

I second third and fourth the comment about more then -10 drop...IMO the extremly light bat hide poor mechanics and hinder the younger player...

Twins 9 years old...5'2" 110# both swing 31" 21 xeno... Batting practice uses a 32" 22 boombah - after about 15 minutes/ maybe 2-3 buckets... It tends to get heavy & I can see them drop their hands, so we finish up with the xeno and there is a lot more pop on the ball and their swings.
I think it's 1/2 what you should swing and then 1/2 what feels good. On one twin the 31" 21 is almost starting to look to small in her hands.

Coach 9u team playing 10u...buying the worth 454 (29"/17oz) and cf5 (30"/19oz).
A little something for everyone. I know cf5's great bat. Anyone use the worth 454?

DD is 14. 5'6" (almost 5'7") and 138 (NOT 140!! lol). Last year she used a 33/23 Xeno. This year, as of 2 weeks ago, she is using a 34/24 (although the postal scale says 24.9) Miken NXT. At 10U she used a 30/20.

DD's 12U team uses Worth 454s, both in the -10 and -12 drop. In larger lengths than 29" of course, since they're bigger girls. :) They are hot bats!

I don't know if it's recognizable, but that's one of the -10 Worth 454s in DD's hands in my avatar.

11 YODD 5'6" and about 105# (mostly legs!) just moved up to 12U. I am always looking to learn more about bats myself so I have enjoyed reading this post. I have watched many girls labor with bats they are using simply because they are too big for them. My DD is not a power hitter, but does typically put the bat on the ball and get her fair share of hits. She is still working on getting power in her swing. Last year playing 10U she used a Louisville Slugger TPS Zephyr 31/18. She just moved last month to a Demarini Vendetta 32/20. I just think she needs the lighter bats at this time and like you said, every girl is different. I have been pleased with both bats. As she grows and gets stronger I will probably move her to an end loaded bat. Good luck on your choice for your daughter.
