Just curious, I always hear how the cf6 is awesome for smaller girls because it's really hot and light. I know a lot of people that go on and on about how hot the cf8 was/is. I happened across a used cf7 on ebay for a reasonable price and was wondering if that was an off year or just not popular for some reason? Anyone have experience with the cf7?

My older DD had the CF7 32/22
Younger DD had the CF8 31/20 and CF9 31/21

IMO the CF7 was the lesser bat out of all of them. I wasn't that impressed with the CF9 either. My DD had to hit it just right to do any damage. The CF8 sprite was crazy hot!

I would not say the CF7 is bad but it is not as good as some of their other years.

University of Michigan used CF6 then skipped CF7 altogether and still used their CF6 until CF8 came out.

I sold my dd's cf9 to get her an Lxt. She originally said it was too heavy, then hit well in one game with it and has returned to it being too heavy. Was looking at cf6 sprites but they are crazy high. She never got comfortable with the cf9, it always sounded weird to me and stung her hands. She may just have to tough it out with the Lxt as it has never hurt her hands even off the very end.

I never had the best of experiences with the CF9 either. Occasionally she would hit one just right and it sounded like a tree branch breaking. How old is your DD?

She will be 9 in July. She slwYs complained that the cf9 hurt her hands. She’s on the small side and it’s hard to find a bat that doesn’t feel heavy to her. She used a drop 13 Combat Maxxum until it broke and loved it.

The CF7 is okay, but not outstanding. For a smaller player, it's probably not going to make a noticeable difference no matter which one you choose.

Yeah, the 7 wasn't their best bat... they're all over ebay because people don't want them. A girl on DD's travel team showed up to practice last week with a used one her dad bought for $100.... After about 10 ball into her at bat during BP... she screamed "I hate this bat, it's killing my hands!!!"

Probably just keep working with the LXT, to me her swing looks good and she hits well with it but gets tired quickly at bp. Would love to try a usssa ghost next month but not without getting one in her hands first to swing. One more bat purchase and I might be headed to divorce court
