Let me lay this out up front...I don't have an agenda. I don't love or work for DeMarini, Louisville, or anyone else. I'm honestly just trying to make an educated decision.
My daughter seems ready to move up from her CF9 31/20, and I was considering a 31/21 Ghost. A local coach that's a good buddy of mine, said his daughter broke hers in three days. He also said two more of the girls on his team have broken theirs recently. I get on here to ask about them, and see another thread discussing this very same issue.
ALL bats that are worth a flip at all seem to break on occasion...I get it that. My question though, is are the Ghost more fragile than most? Other on-line reviews seem to indicate it's not just this site or my buddy seeing a fairly "high" rate of failure. Am I overstating the issue?
I desperately want to be wrong about this, because Core is my favorite guy in the world to buy from and the Ghost seems hot and I'd like my girl to try one. I do NOT want to be constantly mailing broken bats around this spring though.
What say DFP?
