Thought we'd try a Heart of the Hide this time.

All the dimensions are really close to her custom 12" Vinci. Leather is really really nice!

Thanks Drakemar, I think this one won't be too hard to get gameable. This is a Pro206, part of the Pro200 series, same pattern as the old classic Pro1000 model. These don't have a palm pad which will definitely make it easier to break in. The stiffness is not even in the same ballpark as my horween leather Rawlings, and I think her first custom Vinci was overall stiffer because of the Kip. But the Rawlings blows the Vinci away with the thumb & pinky stiffness which are where Vinci gloves are always lacking, to me anyway.

Very nice glove.

My daughter 9 year old daughter has a Wilson 11.75 A2k. I just bought my 8 year old son a Rawlings 11.75 Heart Of The Hide. I was surprised that the Rawlings Heart Of The Hide is bigger than the Wilson A2k. Both gloves are very high quality. The HOTH is not broken in yet so I am not sure which glove I will like more but I am leaning towards the A2k as a little better glove. Which it should be since there is a price difference.

One of my daughter's coaches was holding my daughters glove the other day, just kinda checking it out. He went to put his hand in her glove and I told him not to put his hand inside my daughter's glove since I did not want a adults hand in her glove stretching it out. You should have seen his face when I said that. He looked at me like I was crazy. lol

Yeah, I always shake my head when I see a dad trying to stuff his bear paw in a kids glove, like why are you doing that?? Truth is you could hand "that" guy 100 kids gloves and he would try to get his hand in every one!

As far as your glove comparison, the A2K is comparable to the Rawlings Pro Preferred, the A2000 and the Heart of the Hide match up. I always go for the A2000 and the HOH, they retail for $100 less and are more durable.

The other day a coach grabbed my daughter's A2K from her and said...I sure hope you appreciate your parents buying you this. It's two years old and has been a great glove. She just broke in two new A2000s and loves them too. She just loves how they fit her hand compared to the others.
