If you want your DD's skills improved, the best use of time and money is to find a good personal coach and work with him/her. You will see much, much more improvement.

We've been to three. First was great, two and three...not so much. Too many girls in too small of a facility. Run by four college SBall coaches, which was good. But, I'm not sure the Community College coach was very knowledgeable, helpful or relevant. The D1 and D3 coaches sure were though.

Loved the after clinic talk the coaches gave the girls. Take home message: If you want to be on my team, grades count as much, or more, than softball skills.

I don't think the camp itself is worth a crap. The hitting instruction that DD got from a D3 coach was pretty bad.

Having said that, the mid-major D1 pitching coach that was there contacted DD's travel coach looking for more information and now DD is on that school's radar. Never would have happened if not for going to this lame camp.
